Helped lead this large-market No. 1-rated ABC news affiliate station into modern digital video storytelling, from commercial production to working with on-air talent with advanced editing techniques, while also writing scripts for topical and image spots. As as small marketing and promotions department, we won 2x Emmy® award nominations, 1x win, and 2x PromaxBDA Gold awards during my employment for various on-air marketing campaigns.
In 2015, promoted as Brand Manager to help lead social, digital, and broadcast marketing of WRDQ, WFTV's independent sister-station. Also played a key role in successfully acquiring MLS broadcast rights for new expansion team Orlando City SC, hosting all non-nationally televised games and related shows on WRDQ starting in 2016. Won a PromaxBDA Gold award for a promo spot produced in 2018, in collaboration with our partner Orlando City SC.
